Results of protected turtle nests at La Tortuga Feliz in 2019
In total, 222 nests were protected, of which 163 were of leatherback turtles, 49 were of green turtles and 10 were hawksbills. These nests produced an estimated 12,162 turtle hatchlings, of which 6,749 were leatherback babies, 4,227 green babies and 1,186 hawksbills.
