Travel Information
Volunteers catch the 9am bus from Los Caribenos bus station in San Jose to Bataan. It costs approx $5usd and takes about 2.5hrs. Tickets can be purchased on the day of departure at the ticket office in the bus station.
On arrival at the small bus stop in the centre of Bataan you will be met off the bus.
If you miss the bus you have no other option other than to wait a few days as we collect and drop off volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays ONLY.Please let us know by email that you missed the bus.
Volunteers arriving from Limon should get to the San Jose bus stop in Bataan which is on the opposite side of the road to where the Limon bus drops you no later than 11.30am
